BREAKING - 7 year old boy confirmed dead in St. Catharines
Niagara Regional Police confirming a 7 year old boy has died after he was rushed to hospital Friday morning.
Police were called to a Queenston street home around 10:15am where they found Nathan Dumas with critical injuries.
While the exact cause of death isn't being released, police say Nathan was the stepson of fugitive Justin Kuijer.
He is the 43 year old man wanted in connection with a violent bank assault at the RBC Bank on Martindale Road in St. Catharines around 10:30am Friday.
Police say it was not a robbery or a domestic violence matter.
Police continue to search for Kuijer, who is considered armed and dangerous.
The male suspect fled the scene in a van and is still on the loose.
The van is described as a Grey 2009 Pontiac Montana, plate number is B-Y-T-E-3-9-2.
This investigation remains ongoing by detectives. Anyone with information as to the location of Kuijer or the Pontiac van is asked to call 911.
