Breaking: Niagara Falls warns of discoloured water after watermain break
Officials in Niagara falls are warning a watermain break could effect your drinking water.
The watermain break has occurred on Sarah Street between Harleyford Cresent and Rapelje Street.
Due to the extensive restoration work that must be undertaken to repair the watermain, Sarah Street will experience traffic and water interruptions for much of the day Saturday
between Harleyford Cresent and Rapelje Street. Emergency Access is available.
The water may be slightly discolored and off taste after the interruption, this will disappear shortly after resuming use of the water.
The city advises running your cold water tap only in the lowest possible location in your residence will help resolve the problem.
