BREAKING | RCMP believe they have found bodies of BC murder suspects
RCMP in Manitoba say they have found two bodies believed to be two BC murder suspects.
Police said yesterday that they found several items linked to Bryer Schmegelsky and Kam McLeod, who are suspects in the killings of three people last month in northern B.C.
Mounties did not say what the items are, but that they were found on the shore of the Nelson River in northern Manitoba.
Police say special teams then searched nearby.
At 10 a.m today two bodies were found in dense brush near where the items were found.
Autopsies will be held to confirm ID's and cause of death.
RCMP searched the river near Gillam over the weekend after a damaged aluminum boat was discovered there Friday.
They said a dive team conducted an underwater search ``of significant areas of interest'' on Sunday.
There had been no confirmed sightings of the teens since July 22nd.
