Brock approves land, Host Society announces slogan for Canada Games in Niagara

Several big developments as Niagara representatives prepare for the 2021 Canada Games.

Officials for the Host Society announced the official slogan, 'once and for all', as Chair Doug Hamilton reinforced these games are a once in a lifetime opportunity for the region.

Meanwhile, Brock University has officially approved contributing land at the main campus so it can be the eventual site of a community and athletics complex for the games.

The school will be providing a long-term lease for the land at a nominal fee as well as chipping in $3.5 million through in-kind use of school facilities, and a $500,000 financial commitment.

Total cost of the infrastructure plan for the Games comes in a $98 million, involving funding from all levels of government.
