Brock Badgers Men's Basketball team welcomes new interim head coach

A new interim head coach will be taking the helm of the Brock Badgers men’s basketball team.

Fresh off five years as McGill University's assistant coach, Madhav Trivedi will be stepping into the role as coach Charles Kissi take a one year leave to become an assistant coach with Raptors 905, the NBA G League affiliate of the Toronto Raptors.

Aside from his work at McGill, Trivedi worked as a scout for the Israeli Under 20 national team.

"Even if you’re coaching a team for 10 or 15 years, every season is totally different," Trivedi said via a release. "But with every program, you’re trying to be the best you can and get to Nationals. So for me it’s the day-to-day progress and constantly trying to get better. If you focus on that, you’ll reach your potential."

Brock begins their regular season on October 26, tipping off at home against Wilfrid Laurier.
