Brock Badgers to talk bullying with Niagara elementary students

The Brock Badgers men's basketball team will play host to their third annual outreach event on bullying.

The event on Thursday will bring around 800 elementary school students from 13 schools to the university.

The symposium will help educate students in Grades 6 to 8 about a variety of social issues.

Badger's coach Charles Kissi says he wants students to know they are never alone, there's always someone else experiencing it or who is there to help.

And he adds the event also teaches his players about the importance of being role models

Following the event, the Brock men’s team will host Redeemer Royals in a pre-season exhibition game starting at 10:50 a.m.
