Brock polar plunge set for today
Some local polar plungers getting a break today with temperatures in the double digits.
Swimmers will put on their trunks to take part in the Polar Plunge hosted by Brock University in support of Special Olympics Ontario.
A large pool will be set up in Parking Lot P where participants will take a dip to raise money for the Special Olympics School Championships to be held at Brock in June.
The goal this year is to raise $15,000 for the games which will be hosted by the Niagara Regional Police Service.
