Brock students kick off 5 days for the homeless
Cold nights on the hard, unforgiving ground.
It's a reality for many of Niagara's less fortunate, and for a group of Brock University students this week, it will become their new reality.
Starting today volunteers are taking part in 5 Days for the Homeless, an initiative that will see them leave their warm beds and live rough for to raise funds and awareness.
The team hopes to raise $5,000.
Students will be camped outside Mackenzie Chown Complex A Block.
Donations of cash and non-perishable food will be gratefully accepted.
A donation page has been set up online at http://5days.ca/donate/
Larry and the panel discuss some of the day's top news stories.
