Brock U researcher finds simple way to get your kid to behave
Could it really be this simple?
Research out of Brock University is suggesting a fairly easy trick to get your kids to behave.
Just have your child say out loud what they are promising to do, as in "I promise not to sneak any more cookies."
Researcher Angela Evans says their study has found it really does improve the likelihood of them doing what they are asked to do,.
The psychology prof tells the CBC when you say something our loud, it becomes a part of yourself and a personal committment.
