Canada's key lending rate could climb again today
Economists are pushing up their predictions for another interest rate hike in Canada, saying it's possible the Bank of Canada will act sooner rather than later.
Scotiabank's Derek Holt says the economy's recent surprising strength has him thinking an interest rate hike could be in the cards for today.
The bank's trend-setting rate currently stands at three-quarters of a percentage point after a quarter point increase in July
