Canadians get set for Jersey day across the country
Canadians across the country will trade in their usual weekday outfits for sports jersey's tomorrow to honour those affected by the Humboldt Bronco's bus crash tragedy.
A group of hockey parents from B.C. started the #JerseysforHumboldt plan over the weekend to show the victims' families that they are thinking of them.
It quickly spread through social media and dozens of sports organizations, school boards and local business across Canada, the US and even Europe are encouraging their members and students to wear jersey's or the Bronco's team colours of green and gold tomorrow.
Both the DSBN and Catholic school boards in Niagara are participating
Kully's in St. Catharines tweeting out if you wear your favourite hockey jersey in to their location tomorrow, 15% of your bill will be donated to the Humboldt Broncos #HumboldtStrong campaign.
