CannTrust exploring possible sale following problems at Pelham greenhouse

A Canadian cannabis firm is exploring a possible sale as regulators continue to investigate illicit pot growing at its Pelham greenhouse.

CannTrust Holdings says it has hired a financial adviser to explore ``strategic alternatives,'' which could also include changes to its operations or a merger.

The company terminated its C-E-O last week and demanded the resignation of its board chair after an investigation into unlicensed growing at its facility in Pelham.
