Carlisle Street parking garage to temporarily close
The Carlisle Street/Garden Park Parking Garage will close temporarily for the weekend to allow crews to paint markings on the concrete.
This summer, the City closed the parking garage over two weekends for regular maintenance to the facility’s waterproofing system.
Now that the waterproof coating is in place, crews will paint traffic arrows and other markings on the concrete to complete the project.
The Carlisle Street/Garden Park Parking Garage will be closed from 6 p.m. Friday, Oct. 13 to 6 a.m. Monday, Oct. 16 to allow the newly painted markings to completely dry.
Because of the nature of the work, vehicles will not be permitted to enter or exit the garage.
Vehicles must be out of the parking garage by 6 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 13.
Vehicles left in the garage are done so at the owners’ risk. Vehicles that must stay in the garage for the weekend should be moved to the top floor by 6 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 13.
