Child Abuse Unit asking some St.Catharines residents to check their properties
Police are asking some residents in St.Catharines to check their properties following an alleged sexual assault of a young girl.
It was on Tuesday afternoon at 5:30, a 9 year old girl reported she has been sexually assaulted by a man, in the area of Haynes Ave. and Church Street.
Officers have arrested a 25 year old man and charged him with sexual assault and sexual interference.
Detectives from the Child Abuse Unit are asking residents in the area of Haynes Avenue / Queentson Street / Tasker Street to check their properties for discarded electronics devices.
