Child accidentally locked in hot car
As the temperature broke a 73 year old record yesterday hitting 32.8 C, a frantic parent called for help after accidentally locking their child in a car.
Police, fire and EMS all responding to the call yesterday morning around 10:00 in Welland after an 18 month old child was locked in a vehicle at the Niagara Centre YMCA.
CAA was able to get the child out in about 20 minutes and police say the toddler was assessed by EMS and suffered no ill effects from the ordeal.
