College students organize peaceful demonstration
As striking college teachers prepare to start voting tomorrow on management's final contract offer, a group of students are organizing what they call a peaceful demonstration.
Students are asked to head to school Thursday at noon, to fill hallways and classes with the sounds of the student voice.
The movement encourages all students to get involved, share a selfie or video and flood at social media sites using several hashtags including #assinclass, #studentsfirst, #wepaytolearn and #collegestrike
The group says while they recognize the importance of academic freedom, students have asked both OPSEU and the colleges to come to terms on other issues and suspend the strike while they continue to negotiate the academic freedom clause.
Larry and the panel discuss the NPCA/Ed Smith decision, sexual harassment in the workplace, Black Friday, the Grey Cup and much more.
Larry talks with the St. Catharines Standard reporter about this week's decision.
