A Toronto lawyer has asked the courts to extend the Tory leadership race by one more week
A Superior Court of Justice is set to hear his application for an injunction this morning.
Lawyer Jeffrey Radnoff argues a significant number of party members, including his client, have been denied the right to vote because they have yet to be given a personal identification number allowing them to cast a ballot in the race for a leader.
The deadline to vote is noon today, the results expected to be announced tomorrow.
Yesterday leadership hopeful Doug Ford accused party ''elites'' of handpicking those allowed to cast a ballot.
