Dogs Can't Weather the Storm

The IceDogs ran into a young, determined Storm team, falling 5-1 in Guelph. Ryan Mantha’s 11th of year and 38Stephen Dhillon saves kept it close until the final three minutes.

A scoreless first saw Guelph hold an 11-9 shots on goal edge. In the second, the Storm scored on a delayed penalty and a power-play before Mantha made it 2-1. Once again Guelph held the edge in shots 20-7.

The Storm broke the game open with two goals in 13 seconds, with less than three minutes to play. An empty netter ended the scoring for the evening.

The IceDogs get a chance to get even on Thursday evening against Guelph. 610 CKTB will have all the action, with the pre-game show at 6:30.
