DOUBLE STABBING | Police look for security footage following Niagara Falls stabbing

Niagara police are asking businesses in Niagara Falls to review security footage following a double stabbing over the weekend.

It happened at around 2am Sunday in the area of Fallsview Boulevard and Murray Street.

The two men, both in their 20's were found suffering from stab wounds and were then flown to out of region trauma centre for care of their injuries.

Police say it appears there was an altercation between two groups that took place on the east side walk of Fallsview Boulevard in-front of the Fallsview Casino Resort.

The two injured males fled into the Casino property to seek help. 

All the other involved persons scattered and fled the area.

At present the suspect group is believed to be 4 males wearing dark or black clothing.  Their ages are unknown. The suspect group of males is believed to be South Asian possibly Sri Lankan.

Detectives are actively investigating this matter and are appealing to witnesses to come forward with any information.  Business management in the area, are also being asked to review security camera footage between the time of 1:45AM and 2:15AM.  Members of the public with cell phone camera footage are also being asked to contact the detectives.
