Driver of car dangerously transporting lumber on QEW facing more charges
More charges for the driver caught transporting lumber along the QEW with all the car side doors thrown open.
The dangerous act was caught on camera last week as the car travelled along near the Red Hill Valley Parkway toward the Burlington Skyway.
OPP Sgt. Kerry Schmidt says 42 year old Christopher Cielecki from Hamilton is facing additional charges of mischief endangering life, careless driving, insecure load, and driving while under suspension.
This comes after Hamilton Police linked the car to an alleged theft in mid-April where a man and woman were spotted inside a compound on Brockley Drive.
Officials claim the pair stole 450 kilograms of bulk steel worth around $3,000.
The car was seized and Cielecki and 42 year old Nicole Farr were each slapped with a count of break and enter.
