Niagara police, with assistance from the RCMP, launched an investigation after allegations that heroin and methamphetamine were being sold from a Welland residence.
Two people were arrested Friday after police seized about $2000 worth of suspected heroin, fentanyl, hydromorphone capsules, and marihuana.
A quantity of cash was also seized.
Joseph Neabel, a 47 year old Welland resident and Yvon Desharnais, a 54 year old Welland resident are charged jointly with possession of heroin for the purpose of trafficking,
possession of fentanyl for the purpose, possession of methamphetamine for the purpose of trafficking, possession of marihuana and possession of proceeds of property obtained by crime.
Both accused were held pending a bail hearing scheduled for March 3rd 2018
