Early signs point to possible sabotage in B-C gondola accident

Police in Squamish, B-C say someone may have intentionally cut a gondola cable at the popular tourist attraction known as the Sea To Sky Gondola.

The gondola takes riders high above Howe Sound to view the scenery
R-C-M-P say they're still assessing the damage but early signs point to the gondola's cable being cut early yesterday, sending 31 unoccupied cabins to the ground.
The gondola wasn't operating at the time and nobody was injured.
The ride is closed as authorities inspect the full length of the line.
