Environment Canada warning of possible hail in Niagara this afternoon/tonight
Environment Canada issuing a special weather statement warning of unsettled weather this afternoon.
The weather agency says scattered thunderstorms across the region are capable of producing some small hail and gusty winds.
The disturbance slated to sweep across Southern Ontario this afternoon and into tonight are expected to produce pea-sized hail, the odd thunderstorm may give larger hail.
There may also be isolated wind gusts of up to 70 km/hr.
The main concern is possible damage to crops and plants.
