Experts give Lake Ontario levels 50/50 chance of meeting 2017 record
Water levels are still on the rise in Niagara.
Experts with the Niagara Peninsula Conservation Authority tell us Lake Erie is sitting 11 cm above the record-high set in 1986.
Waters aren't expect to peak there until early June.
Meanwhile Lake Ontario is also still swelling, now sitting at 14 cm below the record high set two years ago with officials from the International Lake Ontario - St. Lawrence River Board giving it a 50% chance of reaching the record-breaking 2017 level in the next two weeks.
