Family involved in serious collision on Hamilton Mountain
Hamilton police arrested a 17-year-old male following a crash that seriously injured five people.
Police say the teenage driver pulled out to pass a vehicle yesterday afternoon and slammed head-on into another car on Nebo Road north of Dickenson Road around 3:30 p.m.
A 29-year-old Hamilton woman and her two children -- one aged two and the other a three-week-old infant -- were in that vehicle.
They, along with the teen driver and his 18-year-old passenger were all rushed to hospital in serious condition.
Police said the 17-year-old driver would be charged with four counts of dangerous driving causing bodily harm.
