Federal Conservative MP Gord Brown has died

Politicians are expressing their sympathies after a Federal Conservative MP was found dead this morning in his Parliament Hill office.

Gord Brown represented the eastern Ontario riding of Leeds-Grenville-Thousand Island and Rideau Lakes. He was first elected in 2004 and won re-election three more times, including in 2015.

Reports suggest he suffered a heart attack.

He was 57.
