First Canadian Astronaut to walk in space helps Niagara get into the Grape and Wine spirit

A sold out crowd getting into the Grape and Wine spirit at Club Roma this afternoon for the annual celebrity luncheon.

The Grape King was also officially crowned today - Doug Whitty of Whitty Farms and 13th Street Winery in St. Catharines gets the honour.
The Grape and Wine Festival is now officially underway and runs until September 24th with over 100 events, including concerts, wine tastings, fresh local food and of course the annual Grande Parade on the 23rd through downtown St. Catharines.
The hub of the festival can be found in historic Montebello Park.
Wine and food, as well as entertainment, will be offered in the park this weekend and next from Friday to Sunday.
