First confirmed case of CTE in pro bull rider
Neurologists from the University of Washington say a champion bull rider from British Columbia who died by suicide last January had a chronic brain condition.
The family of Ty Pozzobon had donated his brain to the university, where doctors found Pozzobon had a condition known as CTE (chronic traumatic encephalopathy), the first confirmed case in a professional bull rider.
People diagnosed with CTE are frequently known to have suffered from mental health issues including depression and suicide, but the link between the conditions is unclear.
Larry and the councillor discuss the issue and how to resolve it to everyone's satisfaction.
