Flooding in Port Dalhousie after Lake Ontario water levels rise
Deja vu as flooding returns to Lakeside Park in Port Dalhousie.
The recent rain has sparked Lake Ontario water levels to rise.
We have flooding in some areas across Niagara, including the popular park in Port and in Jordan Harbour.
It was back in 2017 we saw major flooding issues at Lakeside Park which forced the closure of some areas and delayed the opening of the carosel.
Across the border, U.S. officials says they are preparing for a “worst-case” scenario.
They have the National Guard "on-call" in case water levels continue to rise in Lake Ontario sparking flooding.
