Ford won't commit to bringing GO trains to Niagara
Ontario PC leader Doug Ford making several stops in Niagara yesterday.
During a stop at M.T. Bellies in Welland, Ford telling reporters he hasn't decided if he will honour a Liberal promise to bring year round GO Train service to Niagara by 2021.
Ford says while he's not ruling it out, he wants to review the plan and consult with the people before making a final decision.
Ford also attended a rally at the Holiday Inn in St. Catharines where he took the Wynne Liberals to task for their spending habits.
He also promised to make changes to the education system but again insisting he won't make any changes to the system without consulting with parents.
Niagara Regional Chair Alan Caslin has voiced his support for Niagara Go Train service on Twitter, inviting Ford to give him a call to discuss what it could mean for the region.
