Beach goers in Fort Erie won't have much longer to wait until they can take a stroll down the newly improved Bay Beach.
The grand re-opening is set for this Sunday morning at 11 a.m.
The day will include lots of family activities including the first annual Bay Beach Sand Castle Competition, food trucks, and more.
The official ribbon cutting will be held at noon, and after that is the sand castle competition.
Entry to the beach will cost $5, but children under the age of 10 can still get in free.
Residents of Fort Erie can also purchase a $10 pass from town hall that grants unlimited access for the year.
Some of the new features at the beach include new washroom facilities, a playground, a covered pavilion, a ramp down to the beach and a terrace deck that extends over the beach.
