Fort Erie woman who climbed a crane in Toronto gets a break
Toronto’s “Crane Girl” getting a break from a judge after pleading guilty to mischief
23 year old Marisa Lazo, a Fort Erie area native, has been given an absolute discharge.
Lazo made headlines after climbing a construction crane on Wellesley St. near Yonge St. in the middle of the night on April 26 last year.
Fire crews were called in to rescue her after she climbed up the crane, crawled out onto the end of it, and slid down a cable to the large pulley device, where she got stranded.
Larry talks to the Brock student about her experience.
