Funeral plans for former president George HW Bush being finalized
The late U-S president George Herbert Walker Bush will be laid to rest on Thursday, after a series of services and memorials will be held from Texas to Washington.
A public memorial is planned in downtown Houston tomorrow, while Bush's body will lie in state in the Capitol Rotunda, in Washington from Monday to Wednesday.
Air Force One is being sent to Texas to transport Bush's casket to Washington Monday afternoon
The 41st president will then be laid to rest Thursday on the grounds of his presidential library at Texas A-and-M University, next to his beloved wife Barbara, who died in April, and their three-year-old daughter Robin, who died in 1953.
The Bush family is still arranging funeral services, but former prime minister Brian Mulroney says he'll be speaking at the Thursday event.
