Gas prices soaring in Niagara

Gas prices rose anywhere from 5 to 10 cents at most stations in Niagara yesterday.
Gas prices still soaring today as the Liberals cap and trade plan takes effect.
A quick check of gas prices in Niagara finds most at 1.15 a litre, but at last check and the Esso on Ontario St. in St. Catharinesis the lone holdout.
Gas is still 94 cents but no guarantees on how long that will last and the line up to get in is about ten minutes long.
