Gord Downie doppleganger goes viral
Two-year-old Bentley knows he's gone viral, even if he isn't quite sure what that means.
The little boy from Trenton has captivated Internet audiences across the country after his mother decided to dress him up as Tragically Hip frontman Gord Downie for Halloween.
Bentley's costume has the tot imitating Downie's look from the Tragically Hip's recent cross-country tour.
Shannon White made her son's costume herself, including a pair of sparkly pants, a tiny a ``Jaws'' T-shirt, a neck scarf and a Downie-style top hat sporting a feather.
She says the final touch, a handkerchief that hangs from Bentley's back pocket,is one that Downie himself tossed into the crowd during a concert years ago.
The most exciting online response to the costume came on The Tragically Hip's official Facebook page, which posted the boy's photograph, saying ``looking good Bentley!''
