Hamilton anarchist denied bail

A Hamilton anarchist who is  facing charges in connection with the March 3rd ransacking of Locke Street has been denied bail.

31 year old Cedar Hopperton will remain in jail on a charge of conspiracy to commit an indictable offence.

According to police, Hopperton runs the Tower, a meeting place of sorts for anarchists.

Police say the mob of vandals that trashed Locke Street businesses were affiliated with an Anarchist Book Fair at Westdale Secondary that same weekend.

The Book Fair was organized by the Tower.
