Hamilton police lay charge in crash that killed Welland man
Police in Hamilton have charged a man in connection to a head-on crash that claimed the life of a Welland man in August.
A 19 year old Hamilton resident has been charged with dangerous driving causing death.
In a release, police did not name the man but say he was released from custody and will be back in court later this month.
The crash happened just before midnight on August 29th in the area of Upper James Street near Homestead Drive.
The investigation is ongoing but speed has been identified as a contributing factor.
The Welland man who died at the scene has not been identified.
