Hedley taking a break following allegations of sexual misconduct

The Canadian pop rock band Hedley is going on what they call an indefinite hiatus.

The band announcing it will take a break after its tour wraps up later this month.

Hedley is scheduled to play several local venues including the Meridian Centre March 7th and the First Ontario Centre in Hamilton the day before.

The band came under fire after fans starting sharing stories of alleged sexual misconduct on social media.

Then a Calgary radio host and an Ottawa woman came forward with allegations against the band's frontman Jacob Hoggard.

Hoggard posting on Twitter, while he never engaged in non consensual sex, he admits his past treatment of women has been "reckless" and "dismissive".
