Home Depot is the latest corporation to face social media backlash after a co-founder pledged support to Donald Trump.

The hash tag “Boycott Home Depot” began trending after Bernie Marcus told an Atlanta news station that he planned to donate to the president's 2020 re-election bid.

Marcus said that while he didn't "agree with every move" Trump had made, the president had still "produced more than anybody else."

some customers of the home improvement giant are so furious they have vowed to cut up their Home Depot cards.
