Hospital staff wearing stickers today to protest lagging contract talks
If you happen to be at a local hospital today, you may notice staff wearing stickers that say Together For Respect on their uniforms.
It's part of an Ontario wide protest involving as many as 75,000 workers at 160 hospitals.
The protest is designed to bring attention to lagging contract talks with the union representing registered practical nurses, personal support workers along with dietary, administrative and trade staff.
The workers have been without a contract since last fall.
Contract talks are set to resume later this month.
