Impending ice storm leads to cancelling of exams at Brock
Hard to believe but an impending spring storm has cancelled exams at Brock.
Environment Canada issuing a freezing rain warning this afternoon and the growing likelihood that Niagara could fall victim of an ice storm this weekend has prompted the University to cancel all exams set for Saturday.
The University says exams scheduled for tomorrow will now take place on Thursday, April 26.
Times and location will be posted next week.
Meantime, Hydro One is also warning customers that the storm could cause widespread power outages impacting thousands of customers.
The utility says crews are standing by to respond to emergencies
This weekend’s icy weather is likely to affect travel plans.
