Lake Ontario water levels have peaked...fingers crossed
Good news for residents living along the Lake Ontario shore.
The International Joint Commission says it appears record high water levels on the lake have peaked.
The IJC expects the levels to start dropping now that we have some dry weather in the forecast.
But the agency is still urging people living along the shoreline to keep an eye on the conditions.
