Liberals to debut pot bill today
The Trudeau Liberals are expected to introduce long-promised legislation today that will lead to marijuana legalization and regulation over its sale, all by mid-2018.
Measures are expected to include limits for legal possession, age restrictions for retailers, marketing rules, and tougher penalties for impaired driving.
Sources say the bill will also include rules requiring producers to sell their pot in plain packaging.
