Ed Sheeran posts set picture after 'Game of Thrones' cameo
Ed Sheeran is basking in the aftermath of his ``Game of Thrones'' cameo.
Sheeran appeared as a Lannister soldier leading a group in song in the season premiere of the hit HBO fantasy drama, which debuted on the premium cable channel Sunday night.
The 26-year-old British singer posted a shot of himself on screen on Instagram Sunday with the caption, ``Throwback to the time I was a Lannister.'' He also posted a picture of himself on set alongside Maisie Williams, who plays Arya Stark.
Producer David Benioff said in March that they had been trying to get Sheeran a spot on the show for years to surprise Williams, who's a Sheeran superfan.
IceDogs Head Coach David Bell has accepted an assistant coaching position with the Ontario Reign of the AHL. After four years with the IceDogs, the last as head coach, Bell moves on to the number one affiliate of the Los Angeles Kings.
The CHL Import draft is underway and with the 13th overall pick the IceDogs have selected Swedish D-Man Timothy Liljegren. Liljegren stands 6'1" tall, weighing in at 191lbs and was Toronto's first round selection, 17th overall at last weekend's NHL entry draft.
The IceDogs pre-season schedule has been announced with four exhibition games beginning September 1st, featuring home games in both Thorold and Beamsville. Barrie and Kitchener will provide the opposition in preparation for the 2017-2018 regular season.
