LOOK: Suspect vehicle in armed pawnshop robbery in Niagara Falls

Police have released a picture of a suspect vehicle after a pawnshop robbery in Niagara Falls.

It happened last Thursday morning (February 9, 2017 at approximately 8:50am) after a man walked into the Niagara Pawnbrokers store on Main Street.

Police says the suspect pulled out a weapon and tried to rob the female store owner.

The suspect fled the area prior to police arriving and was seen entering into a dark coloured SUV.

The vehicle was last seen travelling at a high rate of speed south-bound on Main Street.

The female store owner suffered minor injuries.

    Johnny Corneil scored the overtime winner exactly half-way through the extra period as the IceDogs prevailed 3-2 over visiting Hamilton for Niagara's fifth win in six meetings versus the Bulldogs. Stephen Dhillon was also big stopping 41 shots for the IceDogs fifth straight victory.
