Man in critical condition after being struck as a pedestrian
OPP say a 28-year-old man was struck after getting out of his car to check on the well-being of another driver.
It happened this morning on Highway 409 near the 427 after a two-car crash.
The man is in hospital in critical condition.
No other details at this point.

The IceDogs would surrender a goal 44 seconds into a Wednesday night and that proved to be the game winner as Kitchener won 6-0 at the Meridian Centre. The IceDogs remain in first in the Central, two points up on Barrie, with both teams having played 42 games.
