Niagara Centre PC candidate opens campaign office in Welland

Niagara Centre Progressive Conservative candidate April Jeffs has opened her campaign office in Welland.

Marking the official opening Jeffs said, “Opening my Welland campaign office is really special to me personally because this office represents my commitment to Niagara Centre. The energy in this room today shows me that people are motivated and eager for a new government – a government that works for them – not against them."

She also took a moment to praise Ontario PC Leader Doug Ford. "Doug Ford is a strong leader with a vision for a strong Ontario that we can all be a part of - and be proud of once again."

The campaign office is located in the Fitch Street Plaza, 180 Fitch Street, Unit 19.

    Akil Thomas, Andrew Bruder and Justin MacPherson were all listed Monday by NHL Central Scouting in their final draft rankings. Among North American skaters for the June NHL draft in Dallas, Thomas was number 15, with Bruder at 114 and MacPherson ranked 201st.

    The IceDogs successful 2017-2018 season came to an end in Hamilton in a 4-2 road loss Thursday night. Team Captain and 5 year Niagara forward Johnny Corneil scored the goal that started a late IceDogs comeback in the third.
  • IceDogs Come Up Short in Game 4

    The IceDogs had their way with visiting Hamilton for 40 minutes Wednesday night but couldn't hold a one goal lead, falling 4-2 in game four on home ice. It was Hamilton's first regulation win against the IceDogs in 10 tries this season.
