Ontario government pledges $150,000 for Hurricane Irma aid
The Ontario government is contributing $150,000 to the Canadian Red Cross to help people in the Caribbean hit by Hurricane Irma.
Premier Kathleen Wynne says Irma and its consequences are a worst nightmare for millions of people.
Wynne also says she's sent a letter to Florida Governor Rick Scott offering her sympathies and support.

Stephen Dhillon made 40 saves, many of the unbelievable variety as the IceDogs took a point out of Owen Sound, falling 3-2 in a shootout. A pair of third period goals got the Dogs into overtime.
Colton Incze was outstanding in goal but it wasn't enough as the IceDogs lost 3-1 in Mississauga. Getting the start against the league's top rated power-play, Incze made several great stops at the Steelheads went 1 for 14 with the man advantage.
The IceDogs got contributions from 6 different goal scorers in a 6-1 win on home ice over North Bay. The Dogs have now won two of their past three and are just four points out of top spot in the Central Division of the OHL.
