Responsible Gambling Council hosts information sessions in Niagara

Representatives from the Responsible Gambling Council are in Niagara this weekend as part of Problem Gambling Prevention Week.

This year's theme focuses on spotting the early signs of a potential gambling problem including anxiety, guilt, and frustration.

According to officials from the Responsible Gambling Council, approximately 11,600 adults in Niagara could have a moderate to severe gambling problem.

Over the next few days, a team from the RGC will be holding information sessions at several locations in Niagara:

Friday, October 12 - Fallsview Casino, 5 p.m. - 9 p.m.
Friday, October 12 - Casino Niagara, 5 p.m. - 9 p.m. 

Saturday, October 13 - Delta Bingo and Gaming (St. Catharines), 11:30 a.m. - 2:30 p.m.
Saturday, October 13 - Delta Bingo and Gaming (Niagara Falls), 12:00 p.m. - 3:00 p.m.

Sunday, October 14 - Fallsview Casino, 12:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m.
Sunday, October 14 - Casino Niagara, 12:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m.
