Road closure in Niagara Falls today

Drivers in Niagara Falls will have to detour around the railway tracks on Drummond Road today.

Work on the CN Rail crossing means Drummond will be closed from Gallinger Street/Portage Road to Morrison Street to traffic until 6:00 this evening.

So expect long lineups on Dorchester Road as motorists wind their way around the closure.

Traffic on both Dorchester and Drummond has been heavy because of the ongoing closure of the Highway 420 westbound on ramp.

The ramp is scheduled to reopen November 17th.
